Since we moved to Monterey, Aya picked up a new hobby of fishing.
She went to the Pier at the working fisherman's wharf (not the
touristy one) everyday after school, and soon became one of the "locals."
One day a school of mackerels came in, and she caught one of the
biggest ones ever caught there.
Here she holds her biggest catch and her daddy's biggest catch ---
her fish is a bit bigger than his, measuring at 17 inches!
